Trimble has revealed two new precision farming displays; the ten-inch GFX-1060 and the twelve-inch GFX-1260. Both feature an Android-based operating system and enhanced operating power and are compatible with the NAV-500 and NAV-900 controllers, with CenterPoint RTX included within the purchase price for a year.
According to the company, each display is compatible with 10,000 models from forty different manufacturers, with ISOBUS compatibility and standardised control settings for reduced downtime.
The enhanced processing power means that farmers can handle complex workflows with increased accuracy, while also speeding up setup and configuration times. The Precision-IQ software enables connectivity through Bluetooth and wifi, as well as a direct link to the Trimble Ag Software for data sharing.
“Our GFX portfolio of precision agriculture displays offer a variety of sizes and functionality options to fit a farmer’s workflows and equipment regardless of brand,” said Jim Chambers, vice president of Trimble Agriculture. “The displays operate in tough environments and during long days in the field throughout every season, allowing users to confidently perform a range of field operations quickly and reliably—they are powerful to run and simple to use.”
