The Agricultural Engineers Association is reporting a significant increase in registrations of agricultural tractors above 50hp.
While the May 2021 figure was expected to be higher due to market disruption caused by Covid-19 in 2020, registrations of 1,103 units is a massive 74.8% higher than the year before, as well as 10% higher than the five-year average.
This brings total 2021 registrations up to 5,371 units, an increase of 21.2% over the same period in 2020 and 7% higher than the five-year average.
