Simon Richard Ltd, has expanded its offering of Sauerburger machines by introducing a range of duty rotary mowers.
It means that the distributor is reportedly offering one of the largest selections in the industry.
This comes after the launch of the Condor range of heavy-duty flex-wing rotary mowers in 2024.
Partnered with Ironcraft, the new Sauerburger range features a new design that uses durable materials for cutting in tough conditions.
Key features
- Adjustable cutting heights, larger rear wheels and high-performance blades to promote a fine chop.
- Durable construction to withstand harsh environments, reducing maintenance costs.
- The deep deck positions the main framework underneath, creating a clean, low-maintenance top deck.
- The blades lift the biomass, using the structure for a double cut.
- The new range is considered more sustainable for farming practice, easier to pull due to the large wheels, and reduces fuel consumption therefore minimising environmental impact.
- The mowers are suitable for a variety of grass and stubble management.
The expanded line up includes the 2515 Medium Duty Flex WIng, with a 4.5m working width and designed for tractors up to 235hp. It uses three spindles and two free-swinging blades to minimise impact, with slip clutches to protect the driveline.
Also added is the 3.6m 2512 Flex Wing, which can handle up to 5cm of grass, weeds and light scrub, for use with tractors up to 175hp.
For tougher mowing jobs, there are also single and twin spindle models.
“We are thrilled to introduce this enhanced range of rotary mowers, establishing Sauerburger as offering one of the largest selections for farmers, land managers, and local authorities in the industry,” said Simon Richard.
