Owners of Fendt machinery fitted with both the old and new generations of FendtONE will now be able to register for the offboard system free of charge.
“This will enable the machines to send data to the farm office and for that data to be interpreted and exported to improve farming efficiencies in all areas of agriculture,” explains Fendt’s Ed Dennett.
Another new feature is the system’s ability to pull data from S4 tractors, and other Fendt machines running the 10.4in terminal.
“This is crucial to broadening the user base for FendtONE as it will enable thousands more operators to take advantage of the free offboard software,” he adds.
Registration for both the on and offboard systems previously had to be handled by the dealer, now the company states that registering machines and installing the offboard software can be done by the user in a matter of minutes.
“All customers need are an email address and a Fendt machine that uses the FendtONE onboard interface. The registration process is accessed via Fendt’s website and, once registered, users are offered a variety of helpful video guides to get started,” Ed says.
With both systems setup, users can record time and fuel for each job, as well as share field maps and boundaries with other machines.
