From the 4th to the 6th of February, New Holland will exhibit at World FIRA, in Toulouse, France, highlighting the latest advancements in precision farming and automation.
One such system is the Advanced Vision Assisted Guidance for speciality tractors, a technology developed in-house, and that was recently recognised with an EIMA Technical Innovation award.
It uses Lidar technology combined with localisation and mapping algorithms to autonomously steer down rows and perform headland manoeuvres, while also controlling the rear implement.
According to the company, it will minimise operator input, enabling them to concentrate on work quality, such as sprayer coverage and other inter-row applications.
