    Two grassland herbicides get approval

Corteva Agriscience has received approval for two new herbicides for use on grassland.

Robin Bentley, category marketing manager, says: “It’s been nearly 20 years since aminopyralid (Forefront T) was introduced – the last new active for use on grassland. It is truly exciting to be presenting these two new active ingredients: Rinskor and Arylex. Each are presented as new product formulations and reflect new potential use areas.”

Rinskor is the basis of ProClova XL; a broad-spectrum product safe for use in clover leys. This will help farmers preserve clover in grassland and benefit from nitrogen-fixing and soil structure improvements.

ProGrass contains Arylex and is said to bring long-lasting control of key broadleaf weeds in established grassland.

Robin says: “Both products will be available this spring and represent innovation which will help maximise the productivity of grassland and grass plus clover. Corteva will share more details on where and how to use the products this spring.”
