Maxam, a tyre brand from Sailun which is distributed in the UK by Kirkby Tyres, has put its AgriXtra XL model through testing by the German Agricultural Society (DLG).
Both the very high flexion (VF) and the standard construction radial model have received a DLG Approved quality stamp.
The tests were conducted both in the laboratory and in the field, using 600/70 R30 front tyres and 710/70 R42 rears, outshining competitive brands in resource conservation (soil compaction), fuel savings and traction categories.
“We are delighted that the independent experts and testers from DLG have confirmed the premium quality and performance capability of our tyres,” said Harry Wang, general manager of Maxam Europe.
“As an integral part of our expanding business strategy, we are aiming to further grow our agricultural tyre business. Our AgriXtra XL products in both VF and Standard casing construction are excellent examples of how our technology, as well as engineering, can help farmers achieve a greater value by efficiently lowering their fuel expense, increasing productivity, and reducing soil compaction.”
