Develon Europe, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, has launched a new digital platform following the creation of the Remarketing Division.
The platform allows the company’s dealers, as well as end-users and contractors to sell and procure used equipment from all brands on the market.
The growing used equipment market has pushed Develon to keep up to date with the competitive market by being equipped with advanced remarketing tools while providing to customers.
Luca Perlati, Remarketing manager at Develon Europe, says: “Develon’s equipment business has grown significantly over the last few years and having the best and most up-to-date tools to record, manage and sell new and used equipment is very important to maintain growth, gain market share and to increase Develon’s brand awareness.”
The equipment platform at Develon Europe has been established through a project with Mascus, the fastest growing online media for heavy machines and transportation vehicles.
Develon hopes to increase the second-hand value of all items on the market by maximising the interest and awareness in high specification European machinery.
Rickard Krøtø, managing director of Mascus, states: “We are thrilled to continue the collaboration with Develon Europe […] and count them on the growing list of major OEMs using our remarketing solutions.
“This relationship underlines our ongoing efforts to help dealers expand their online business. In the long run, we continue to provide local support to Develon dealers with sales and marketing advice, and valuable insights into the used equipment market.”
Luca adds: “Establishing the new Remarketing Division at the Develon Europe HQ in Prague and the further push for tools to collect, manage and sell our dealers’ used equipment is a clear indication of Develon’s strategy in Europe to provide the best solutions and services for its dealer network.”
