Sitting at the top of the Arion range, the 660 CMATIC’s engine boosts to a maximum of 205hp and produces 849Nm at 1,500rpm. This is put to the ground through the CMATIC continuously variable transmission, which autonomously adjusts the engine speed to provide the best fuel efficiency.
The 50kph top speed is reached at just 1,500rpm as well, making it ideal for transport operations.
For the operator, the cab is suspended at four points, completely isolating it from vibrations from the chassis, while longitudinal and lateral struts keep it stable during cornering. This is backed up by a range of suspended seats and the ProActiv front axle suspension, with 100mm of travel.
A load-sensing hydraulic circuit offers 110 litres/min as standard, increasing to 150 litres/min as an option. This feeds into up to four electronically controlled spool valves. The rear linkage has a capacity of 8,000kg, and can be matched up with a 4,000kg front linkage. At both ends of the tractor, Isobus sockets are available.
In the cabin, various data collection and precision farming systems can be integrated into the Cemis 1200 display, including GPS Auto Pilot, with control via the touchscreen or a rotary encoder.
Notably, Claas also offers the Cemos system. This operator assistance software uses inputted data to monitor performance during work and will automatically suggest changes to ensure the tractor is working optimally.
