Haith and Grimme UK will use the Potato Days event at Dyson Farm’s Norton site, Lincolnshire, to showcase the Haith Mobile Washer.
“We are very much looking forward to attending Potato Days next month,” says Haith managing director Duane Hill. “There are certainly a lot of people talking about the new event, and hopefully, it will be well attended.
“We will be there alongside Grimme, putting the spotlight on the latest version of our popular Mobile Washer.
“Last year, Grimme offered our mobile washer to selected customers on a rental basis, which proved incredibly popular. In fact, there was so much demand for the service that after Grimme sold the rental unit, they immediately bought a second Mobile Washer so that growers could continue to use it on a rental basis.
“Along with the rental option on our mobile washer, Grimme is helping growers avoid factory lead times by having stock machines available to buy immediately.”
Haith has manufactured mobile washing systems since 1979. The latest unit is available on a chassis suitable for tractor or HGV towing, with an integral stone separation system and an automatic sludge and floating waste system on the outfeed.
According to the company, the shaft sealing system, which enables bearings to be mounted externally, significantly reduces maintenance time and increases machine longevity.
Potato Days takes place on the 4th and 5th of September. For more information and to get tickets, go to www.potato-days.uk
