Case IH has unveiled the FieldOps app, an all-in-one mobile and web solution for farmers to connect, view, and manage their operation.
The app will provide real-time access to agronomic, machine, and operational data that can then be turned into actionable insights.
With the current digitisation of agriculture, connected machines allow farmers to access vehicles through the cloud to drive more profitable and productive operations.
In turn, this will allow dealers additional access to better service machines, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.

There are, however, still severe limitations for those in remote areas of the globe who don’t have a mature cellular or terrestrial network for remote operators to utilise.
Through a collaboration with Intelsat, a leader in satellite communications, the app will ensure operators have full access to the system, regardless of their location.
Marco Lombardi, head of Case IH for Europe, the Middle East and Asia said: “With Case IH FieldOps, we have created a centralised digital platform that simplifies access to data, enabling operators to make data-driven decisions, ultimately driving operational success.”
Key features of the app include visualisation of real-time data and machine insights on the centralised AFS Connect platform, offering simple and streamlined management.
This includes access to location, duty status, machine parameters, estimated completion time, and more.
It will also let users proactively monitor machine health to find high-priority issues for any specific field or season, as well as offering the remote viewing of the in-cab display.
“Case IH FieldOps was developed by farmers, for farmers,” added Marco.
“We worked directly with customers, incorporated their feedback, and developed streamlined processes that make sense for them and the way they work. The resulting platform is intuitive and easy-to-use from beginning to end.”
Currently in its final stages, a full release is expected later in the year.
