Rea Valley Tractors (RVT), a leading tractor and agricultural dealer, has announced the acquisition of Teme Valley Tractors (TVT) as it looks to strengthen its territories in South Shropshire and Wales.
Throughout the last 18 months, RVT has expanded its sales territory, opening three branches in Middlewich in Cheshire, Ormskirk in Lancashire and Denbigh in North Wales after being appointed a New Holland Agriculture dealer in 2022, and expanding its JCB territory into Cheshire.
RVT is also reinforcing its ongoing commitment to increase its capabilities, looking to use the knowledge and skill that will come from TVT, the long-established New Holland dealer.

Matt Mulligan, managing director of Rea Valley Tractors said: “Acquiring Teme Valley Tractors aligns seamlessly with our long-term growth plans. The similarities between both businesses make for a great collaboration – both being highly reputable with a customer-focused mindset.
“We look forward to growing the great reputation and contributions that they have made to the local agricultural community over the years.”
Customers in the newly-reached regions will gain access to an expanded product range, higher availability of New Holland and Kuhn equipment, and more support, as RVT also owns the franchises for JCB materials handling equipment, Bailey Trailers, Milwaukee and Stihl.
TVT Welshpool and TVT Knighton will continue trading from their current locations while the integration gets underway, and Graham Probert and Martyn Hall will continue in key management roles within the business.
“We will continue to serve customers from our Welshpool and Knighton depots. As always, our team are ready to welcome you and look forward to continuing to support you with the same first-class service you have come to expect,” says Graham Probert, managing director at TVT Knighton.
The acquisition means Rea Valley Tractors will operate from nine locations, with each branch offering its full services, with further back-up by manufacturer-trained brand specialists and head administration in Shrewsbury.
